About Karanprayag
Karnaprayag is a small town located around the junction of the river Alaknanda and Pinder river. It is a valley town Karanprayag is named after the great Karna of Mahabharat. It is said that Karna meditated here for years near the junction of the two holy rivers Alaknanda and Dhauli Ganga. It is a small town also famous for the Uma Devi temple which you can visit.
