About Gwaldam
Gwaldam is a sleepy little town, on the border of Garhwal & Kumaon hills located amidst green jungles and apple orchards, offering a fascinating view of Himalayan peaks Nanda Devi (7817 mt), Trishul (7120 mt) and Nanda Ghuti (6309 mt). This quaint little hill station is perched at an altitude of 1700 mts above the sea level and is located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state. It lies on the route which connects the Garhwal region with Kumaon.
