There is something magical about being in nature. You cannot put it in words, but you feel it deep within – it touches your spirit. Just a few minutes of being in nature makes us feel healed and restored. Nature gives us strength, drains away all negative energy and fills us to the brim with positive energy.
Using various tools such as bird watching, nature walks, hikes through scenic trails as well as nature centric education through indoor workshops and presentations, we provides you with an opportunity to connect with nature, feel it's healing power and take advantage of it for the betterment of your physical and mental health
We have recently introduced some nature therapy based programs. We conduct these programs in a few specific locations in Uttarakhand. These are customised programs based on the requirements of the clients. The format of this program is in the form of various activities such as-
Bird therapy: Under this activity we take our guests for bird watching in different forest areas where they identify various species of resident and migratory birds and get information about them. Bird watching is a meditative activity which reduces mental stress and depression.
Adventure therapy: Our well trained instructors guide the guests in various adventure activities such as rock craft, ice craft and high altitude trekking. In these activities people deal with a tough and raw form of nature which helps them in boosting up their confidence and will power.
Arts & crafts: We organize various arts and craft based activities such as music workshops, painting workshops and photography workshops. These activities help our guests to become more creative and sensitive which is essential for mental wellbeing.
Conservation: We take our guests to different villages and conservation areas where they interact with the rural communities, they learn about organic farming, sustainable agriculture, climate resilience and get informed about various conservation initiatives.
Dark nature: This is a unique activity which is organized at night. In this activity people go to wilderness at night and identify nocturnal wildlife such as moths, owls, mammals and reptiles. They enjoy the sounds of the wilderness at night and stunning star formations. This activity shows them a completely different scenario of our natural world.
Green exercise: In this activity our guests perform various physical activities such as yoga, meditation, cardio and high pace short walks in the wilderness and green spaces. All these activities are performed under the supervision of qualified instructors.
Wilderness therapy: In this activity we take our guests on day hikes, nature walks and overnight camping. Guests enjoy beautiful landscapes, trails and get introduced with the local flora and fauna. As it is scientifically proven that Nature has the healing powers and being in nature improves our physical and mental health.
